Tuesday Update 3 September 2024
The Week That Was—And by golly, it was an exciting one! We received confirmation that the re-manufacturing of the Octans and Phoenix is officially complete. Next up, we’ll dive into QAQC checks and balances, followed by a day on the phone with the factory to give the tents one last look over before giving our final tick of approval. Tuesday Update 27 August 2024
Brendan’s been busy in the workshop, steadily building up our stock of radius base plates. Each one brings us closer to having everything ready for your setups! We also had an amazing time at the Joondalup Business Awards, where our hard work and dedication were recognised—it was a proud moment for the whole team! Unfortunately, not much to report on the tents this week—they’re still in the making, but we’ll keep you posted as things progress. On the tech front, Dan and Brendan have been heads down, working hard on the ASCOM driver for the SP3. Testing has gone seamlessly, and it feels like we’re kicking goals every step of the way!
Tuesday Update 20 August 2024
Dan and Brendan have been flat out fine-tuning the SP3 firmware, ASCOM driver, and all the essential bits and pieces. Meanwhile, the Octans and Phoenix observatories are nearing completion—exciting times ahead! This weekend, we’re pumped for the Joondalup Business Association awards, where the team finally gets a chance to kick back and relax. Plus, we’ve got a special announcement lined up for Saturday, so stay tuned!

We’re back with another week of exciting progress in the workshop! Brendan has been full throttle on the radius base plate for the SP3, custom-crafted for Dan’s pimped-out test scope, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out! Watching everything come together has us buzzing with excitement as we prepare to reveal the incredible add-ons that will be available for your SP3, no matter what scope you’re using. Winter is still in full swing here in Perth, and the rain has been making itself known, but that hasn’t dampened our spirits! We hope you’re enjoying clear skies wherever you are. Until next time!
